The following are current efforts of the Pappas Tenant Association to rectify damages caused by Louis A. Pappas


Housing code violations - IN PROCESS -  Stone

False charge by Pappas against tenant for Robbery of keys - SUCCESS - Commonwealth Attorney William Wetzonis, hearing enough of Pappas' inconsistent and contradictory testimonies, did not believe Pappas and did not prosecute the allegation (Nolle Prosequi)

False charge by Pappas against tenant for Assault - SUCCESS - Tenant found Not Guilty

Return of Promised Security Deposit - Monica S. - SUCCESS - Pappas found guilty
2001-September-25 - Pappas sued by Allison S. Arlington General District Court   $1275.00
        Judgment entered in favor of tenant.  Case No. V01-5661

Return of Promised Security Deposit - Allison S. -  SUCCESS - Pappas found guilty
2001-September-25 - Pappas sued by Monica S. in court for withholding deposit without cause  $950.19
         Judgement entered in favor of tenant.   Case No. V01-3661

Retaliatory Action suit for trying to evict several tenants.- SUCCESS - No Eviction processed

2000 - SUCCESS - PappasTenant.com moves meetings online to facilitate attendance and confidentiality

1998 - SUCCESS - Well aware of the bad reputation the Pappas name has in Crystal City, The Pappas Trust is trying to use the veil of advertising the name Mark P. Friedlander as the person to contact regarding rentals. (This will not work, as his own name is in question. See: Friedlander Lies)

Negotiation of prompt repair of roof - M.M. 627

1998 - SUCCESS Pappas Tenant Association has succeed in thwarting attempts to evict people unfairly.

Tenants speak at Arlington County Zoning Hearing, lead by Shaddock
against rezoning of Pappas properties from Residential to Commercial. - SUCCESS - Rezoning for Pappas denied by the County Board

1994 - SUCCESS - Abusive faxes from Pappas attorney Martin Fogel (301-340-2993)   are reported.  Pappas fires Fogel, and hires Friedlander.
